Finding Distant Relatives Through Genealogy

A little while ago I received a surprise message, through a genealogy website, from a 14-year-old in Belgium. He thought we might be related, and he was right! My great-grandmother Marie Cordule Bockstaele was the sister of his ancestor Cyriel Bockstaele. To our mututal delight we were able to exchange information and photographs of our respective sides of the family.
